I LOVE MY COUNTRY
Words and Music By Judy Money and Larry Dvoskin

It started back when I was small, saluting our flag waving tall
And as the soldiers came marching by, I fought back a tear in my eye.
I knew then what I wanted to be, to serve with honor and dignity
And as the love of my country grew, I’m proud of the red, white and blue.

I Love My Country, Land of the Free,
And from the mountains, The great plains to the sea;
And I will give and I’ll sacrifice, To protect this dream,
I love this land of ours, Home of Liberty.

Saying my goodbyes were a test, family and friends did their best;
Knowing that I may not return, Freedom has a price I have learned.

Looking back at how much I’ve grown,
And winding down the road leading home.
The tears of pride in my mama’s eyes,
Tell me it was worth the sacrifice.

I Love My Country, Land of the Free,
And from the mountains, The great plains to the sea;
And I will give and I’ll sacrifice, To protect this dream.
I love this land of ours, Home of Liberty;
And I love this land of ours, Home of Liberty;
And I Love My Country, Home of Liberty.
